BSc (hons) chiro DC
Abigail grew up in Christchurch and went straight from obtaining her A Levels, to study her Chiropractic Degree at the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic. Where she graduated in 2004 with a First Class Honours Degree. Abigail joined our practice in 2004 and has been practising with us ever since.
Chiropractors are concerned with the framework of bones and muscles that support the body (the ‘musculoskeletal system’). Some problems of the musculoskeletal system can be caused by accidents, stress, lack of exercise, poor posture, illness and everyday wear and tear. These problems may cause pressure on the nerves in the body.
Abigail enjoys treating a variety of conditions and symptoms, but takes a special interest in treating children and babies (paediatrics), also problems that may arise during pregnancy. Abigail also treats sports injuries.
When Abigail isn’t busy treating her patients, she enjoys taking time to practise yoga, go to the gym, to walk her dog along the beach and to socialise with family and friends.
